David is proud to serve as Mayor of Decatur, Arkansas, and is committed to keeping our community moving forward through hard work, honest leadership and a focus on results.

As Mayor, David works with the City Council, city staff, local businesses, community organizations and residents to address the issues that matter most to Decatur. From roads and infrastructure to water and wastewater, public safety, parks, economic development and quality of life, his focus is on doing the work required to keep Decatur moving forward.

Over the past year, Decatur has made meaningful progress. David has worked to improve infrastructure, invest in the community, create opportunities for families and businesses and make Decatur a cleaner, safer and more welcoming place to live.

David believes those accomplishments are the result of people working together. City employees, elected officials, business owners, families and residents all have a role in building a stronger Decatur.

As a blue-collar worker, husband, father and grandfather, David understands the value of hard work, accountability and keeping your word. Those are the same values he brings to the Mayor's office every day.
